It takes forever. It's very hard to prove, and you got to go through a lot of hardship in order to get the money back.
— Daniel Lauzon, Toronto resident, after a pothole caused $2,000 in damage to his vehicle · CP24, March 2026
That hardship is exactly what we remove. 5 minutes. $25.

Questions
Straight answers.

No marketing-speak. If you have a question we haven't answered, email us.

Do you guarantee my claim will be approved?
No — and anyone who does is lying to you. The City of Toronto's adjusters make all approval decisions independently. What we guarantee is that your claim will be professionally prepared, correctly filed, and submitted on time. That's what you're paying for.
Is ClaimsTO a law firm?
No. We are a document preparation and filing service. We do not provide legal advice or representation. We prepare your claim documents and submit them to the city on your behalf as your authorized agent.
What happens if my claim is denied?
The city adjuster will notify you with their decision. Our fee is non-refundable once the claim has been filed — we delivered the service (professional preparation and submission) regardless of the city's outcome. We're upfront about this before you pay.
Is my personal information safe?
Yes. Your information is used only to file your claim. It's shared with the City of Toronto (required to process the claim) and Stripe (payment processing only). We never sell your data, everything is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS, and we delete your record after 12 months.
How long does the city take to respond?
The city's third-party adjuster will send an acknowledgement within 5 business days of submission. Resolution times vary depending on case and volume — average is within 90 days.
Can I file if I didn't call 311 at the time?
You can still file — but it weakens your claim, especially for flood damage. The city uses 311 records to establish when they were notified of a hazard. Our screener flags this and gives you an honest assessment of your chances before you pay.
